Granada is 660m above sea level in the foothills of the snow capped Sierra Nevada. In fact, the cities name is thought to derive from the Moorish word Karnattah. Although other historians believe that it comes from Garnatha Alyehud, the name of an old Jewish ghetto. A city full of history, interest, shops, good bars and restaurant and of course the all important Tapas!!

Once in Granada follow signs to Plaza Nueva, from there continue on passed a church called Santa Ana, then take the street called Carrera del Darro and after the second bridge take the first street on your left and carry on until you see a car parking where you can leave the car.
