This independently-owned hotel in the well-preserved area of Zizkov, close to the centre of the city, is a great base for exploring Prague. The hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Prague and all of its many attractions, including Wenceslas Square and the Old Town. The hotel also has fantastic transport links for exploring Prague and the surrounding area, it is close to Prague’s main train station and there is a tram stop in front of the hotel, with the very heart of the city just 5 minutes away by tram. Zizkov is a part of Prague with a unique bohemian atmosphere and is said to have the highest number of pubs per person of any city district in Europe.

The hotel's 24-hour reception desk offers refreshments, books tours and other tickets and offers currency exchange and any kind of assistance. The breakfast room has recently been refurbished. There is a common garage for the Golden City hotel and the Residence Tabor. There is no place for cars higher than 185 cm and for cars running on LPG. - You can park your car as of your check-in time (from 14:00) - You have to leave the garage upon check-out (until 10:00) - Due to fire regulations you have to leave your car key at the reception (also for necessary manipulation with your car). - Accessories must be taken off upon the receptionist's request - Payment for parking is due upon arrival. A parking card is offered at an additional cost, entitling you to park in blue zones in the hotel's surroundings.
